1The Boatshed Coffee House
One of our favourite coffee haunts, The Boatshed has arguably the best views in Darwin, looking out over the marina at Cullen Bay.

Choose your table overlooking the water, and relax while you wait for your coffee to arrive. Excellent coffee, amazing views – what more could you ask for!
2Ally Cats Patisserie
A funky little cafe for serious
inner-city coffee lovers!
A favourite with coffee addicts a great place to catch an early breakfast or to meet friends for lunch. Mind you, some of us may just visit for the extraordinary bakery temptations that are available too!
Ally Cats bakes a range of select pastries and specialty pies which are in high demand. It’s always busy so be sure to be early!
3The Laneway Cafe
This trendy new cafe in Parap is the talk about town for us Darwin coffee snobs. Good quality freshly ground coffee prepared with just the right about of TLC!
Try one of their iced coffees!
The popular Parap Markets on Saturday mornings are the big drawcard for this inner-city suburb and when combined with the surrounding offices and chic restaurants, The Laneway was a success story waiting to happen!
Tucked away in the historic ‘Vic’ Courtyard just off the Darwin Smith Street Mall, The Pearl is a quaint little restaurant with exceptional food and coffee.
Try their ‘Cold Press’ coffees for something different!
The Pearl is a great little venue to try for a special dining treat. We’ve been to a number of their paired degustations over the last few years.
Cosy with great atmosphere and a great place to have a quiet catch-up with friends.
5Ducks Nuts Bar & Grill
Ducks Nuts boast they have the best barista in Darwin and they’re right! Consistently good coffee any time of day! Weekends are a popular so be sure to book your table!
‘Ducks’ is a popular place to grab a coffee or better still, drop-in for breakfast or lunch. Located right beside the cinemas, Ducks Nuts is an easy choice for dinner before the movies (or afterwards) and, with full bar service – it’s a great opportunity to try one of their Espresso martinis!
Ducks Nuts is a pub! Opens early and continues on into the early hours of the night. The best use of a venue to meet all needs!
